Method
Financial Guide
The financial guide was designed by me to my best knowledge. I do not have any background in finance, however I am to my best ability representing what I know and have found.
Software Elements
Overview
The project was designed and implemented in Electron to make it more portable to different devices. It utilizes the API Plaid to connect mutliple users bank accounts to the software. Plaid generates access tokens that are used to fetch information from the bank accounts. These account tokens are then encrypted utilizing the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and uploaded to a NoSQL server on premises, login credentials are also stored in this maner. The advertisments exisit within the app in order to pay for server maitnence fees and Plaid subscriptions. There is an option to pay to remove these ads with a monthly subscription. The advertisments are provided by Google.

The application was designed with disabilties in mind. The colors can be customized to increase readability and it is screen reader enabled.
